Day 1: Transfer to Jinja

Sezibwa Falls: After the briefing, you will go to Jinja, the location of the Nile’s source, stopping en route at Sezibwa Falls, which are situated in the Mukono area. The waterfall, foliage, several bird species, and the sound of the falls, among other things, may all be seen and heard clearly at the falls.
Excursion in Mabira Forest: After leaving Sezibwa Falls, you will continue on to the Mabira Forest, the biggest rain forest in central Uganda, located in the Buikwe area, for lunch. En route, you will travel through the Lugazi sugarcane farm. Following lunch, you’ll go on a nature walk through a forest where you can see different primate species, like red-tailed monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys, as well as different bird species, like the Great blue turaco, purple-throated cuckoo shrike, Cassin’s hawk-eagle, and hornbills, among others. The more daring and well-liked zip-lining sport, which lasts for roughly 4 hours in Mabira forest, is another option.
Discover the Source of the Nile: Following the zip-lining or forest walk, travel to Jinja town where you will board a boat for a sunset cruise on the Source of the Nile. You will first encounter craft stores filled with numerous mementos and handmade goods, like purses and shoes. You will go on to the boat ride on the source of the Nile after the center for artisan stores, which takes around one to two hours of sailing on calm water. Along the shoreline, you can see different bird species like kingfishers and cormorants as well as reptiles like monitor lizards and crocodiles, and in the evening, you can take in the breathtaking sunset. You will meet your driver-guide to proceed to supper and spend the night after the boat ride.
