Day 1: Pick up and transfer for Murchison Falls National Park
You will be picked up and transported to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park, depending on where you are in Kampala. The great four game—elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards—all have habitats in the park. But, you will make a brief halt in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for two to three hours in order to do rhino trekking. After eating lunch, go to the location of the spectacular falls, which will take a further two hours. Connect to your lodge when you get there in the late afternoon to unwind, have supper, and spend the night.

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise at the bottom of the falls
You will embark for a morning game drive on the park’s Northern Bank following an early breakfast at the lodge. You may see a variety of species throughout the 3-5 hour adventure, including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, kobs, oribis, and waterbucks. You will return to the resort for lunch following the trip.
Go on a launch boat on the Nile with a thrilling 360-degree view after lunch to see the base of the Murchison Falls. You will see crocodiles, hippos, and birds like kingfishers, cormorants, and bee-eaters along the river banks while you cruise.
After viewing the falls from the bottom, you can choose to hike up to the top of the falls via Baker’s Trail and stand at Baker’s Stone, which will bring you closer to the falls’ base. Although this hike is challenging, you will enjoy seeing the falls from various angles, and once you reach the top of the falls, you will be amazed and eventually forget about the challenging hike. You’ll meet your driver and be taken back to your resort after having fun at the top of the falls.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale national park
On the 3rd day of your7 Days Uganda Family safari, After breakfast, depart Murchison early and proceed to Kibale National Park; the trip to Fort Portal takes the entire day and includes lunch along the way. There are 13 kinds of primates in Kibale Forest National Park, which is one of the top safari locations in Africa. Chimpanzees are the most popular species. Come at the lodge in the late afternoon, relax, have supper, and spend the night.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk.
A park ranger will guide you as you enter the jungle with your tracking gear, packed water, and snacks after an early breakfast and a lecture about the endangered chimpanzees at the park’s headquarters. It takes between two and five hours to track the chimpanzees. After locating the primates, you will spend an hour with them observing and photographing their activity. Return to the lodge for lunch and a break after tracking.
Join a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland later in the day to experience strolling through a wetland with a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge later in the evening to unwind, eat, and spend the night as described above.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth national park
After breakfast, meet your driver and go off to Bwindi. Before leaving, have a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to look for lions that can climb trees. Drive to Bwindi and arrive there in the late afternoon. Check in, have supper, and spend the night at the resort.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking experience.
On the 6th day of your 7 Days Uganda Family safari, After breakfast, be driven to the park’s headquarters where a local guide will advise you on mountain gorilla trekking. The duration varies from 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas’ activity. Unexpectedly encountering gorillas is one of the most enthralling lifetime events. You will get the opportunity to see and snap photographs up close. Adults will be seen eating and moaning to one another. Your guide and rangers will lead you back to the beginning after an hour with the eagerly expected gorillas, where your driver will be ready to take you back to the resort. Day 7: Transfer to Kampala and departure
After eating breakfast in the morning, start your eight-hour trip to Kampala, where you’ll connect with the Entebbe International Airport to catch a flight home in the evening.
