3 days Uganda habituation chimpanzee experience is an extraordinary Uganda safari that takes you to Kibale national park which is known as a home to primates such as chimpanzees, grey cheeked mangabey, white and black colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys among others. Besides primates it’s a home to mammals such as buffaloes, bush pigs, warthogs, elephants as well as a number of bird species.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1; TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
Depending on your location, the safari guide will pick you up and brief you about the Uganda Chimpanzee safari. After you will embark on the journey to Kibale national park. The journey is a 5 to 6 hours drive and an enroute lunch in fort portal. After lunch you will proceed with the journey up to Kibale national park where you will head to your lodge and relax as you wait for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 2; CHIMPANZEE HABITUATION AND BIGODI SWAMP WALK
After an early morning breakfast, you will carry your packed lunch and head to kanyachu visitors center for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the forest in search of the habituated chimpanzees in company of researchers, scientists, park guides and rangers. While on the trek, you will be able to spot wildlife species such as mammals like elephants, buffaloes, primates such as blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, baboons among others.
Once the chimpanzees are found, you will spend with them an hour in their habitat as you watch them feed, breast feed, hunt, play, flight and take photos and videos. After the chimpanzee trekking you will head back to the parks headquarters and have lunch.
After lunch, you will have a nature walk to bigodi swamp where you will view wildlife species such as bushbucks, wild pigs, primates and a variety of bird species such as African paradise flycatcher, great blue turacco and many more. After you will return to the lodge and relax as you wait for dinner and a night stay.
DAY 3; TRANSFER BACK TO KAMPALA
After a relaxed breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and meet the driver guide to transfer back to Kampala with an enroute lunch in mbarara and later proceed to kayabwe at the equator to take photos as well as buy souvenirs. From the equator, you will proceed up to Kampala where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight back home.
