14 Days Uganda Congo and Rwanda Tripple Gorilla trekking Safari : An exclusive 14-day safari covering the east and central regions of Africa, encompassing three countries, is presented here. It attempts to discover all three Mountain Gorilla habitats, in addition to the primates, landscape, culture, and wildlife. You will visit Lake Mburo national park, for biodiversity and Bwindi impenetrable national park for mountain gorillas in Uganda; Volcanoes national park and Nyungwe national for chimpanzees and canopy walk in Rwanda; and Virunga national park for Mountain Gorillas.

Day 1: Pickup and Kampala city tour

Upon arrival at the airport, a representative of our company carrying a sign bearing your name will enthusiastically greet you on this 14-day journey across three borders of Africa’s top travel destinations. He will brief you and offer you some Juice. Afterward, take a city excursion if time permits and you are still free.

Places to visit include Kasubi tombs where some of the Buganda kings were buried, Gadhafi mosque; the largest in East Africa constructed by the late Muammar Gadhafi, national Museum and then proceed to the lodge for supper and overnight.

 Day 2: Drive to Lake Mburo-boat cruise

You will enjoy a delicious breakfast before checking out of the lodge and embarking on a three-to-four-hour drive to Lake Mburo national park via a tarmac road lined with magnificent buildings, bustling streets, locals going about their business, and plantations.

You will arrive at the park in the late afternoon and then embark on a 2-3 hour Boat cruise on the lake while taking photographs and observing the lake’s inhabitants. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and the night.

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

On the 3rd day of your 14 Days Uganda Congo and Rwanda Tripple Gorilla trekking Safari, you will commence this day with a delicious breakfast meal, followed by a rewarding 3-4 hours game drive through the vast savannah grassland of Lake Mburo national park.  You will likely encounter buffaloes, elephants, Impalas, Uganda Kobs, long-horned Ankole livestock, and warthogs during your search.

After watching the creatures graze, or relax, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then embark on a 5-6 hours scenic drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park; home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Upon late-night arrival at the park, you should head to your lodge for supper and a nap.

Day 4: Gorilla tracking

After breakfast at approximately 6:00 a.m., you will collect all the recommended items and documents for gorilla trekking and head to the sector’s headquarters for a once-in-a-lifetime experience: tracking the mountain gorillas, which share 98% of our genes and characteristics. Before being accompanied into the jungle for a search that can last between 1 and 8 hours, plus a maximum of one hour of observing and photographing the Apes as they play, unwind, or feed, you must register at the park headquarters and receive a briefing from expert park rangers.

At the conclusion of the day, you will return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon refreshments, followed by dinner and overnight accommodations.

 Day 5: Batwa cultural adventure and transfer to Volcanoes national park in northern Rwanda

You will first greet your intestines with a tasty cup of coffee early in the morning, followed by a 3-4 hour thrilling cultural expedition with the Batwa pygmies, former hunters and gatherers in the jungle of Bwindi and Mgahinga. They will show you the village’s caves and Manyattas, as well as chant, dance, and tell incredible tales.

Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for early lunch and then check out of the lodge for a long drive to Volcanoes national park in Rwanda; the land of a thousand peaks. The travel is so beautiful, with many things to observe, such as the flourishing landscape and verdant landscape. This day concludes with dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 6: 2nd Mountain Gorilla trekking and twin lakes tour

On the 6th day of your 14 Days Uganda Congo and Rwanda Tripple Gorilla trekking Safari, After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a 1-8 hour gorilla trekking adventure in the Volcanoes Jungle, immediately following registration and a pre-trekking briefing from the park rangers.  Over ninety-five percent of their DNA is derived from humans, making mountain gorillas extremely fascinating untamed animals.

Dian Fossy is a conservationist who traveled to the Virunga Mountains to conduct research and safeguard the critically endangered mountain Gorillas from poachers who were causing their extinction. After listening to the expert guides’ lectures, there will be a 30-minute drive to the Musanze caves, one of the most fascinating destinations to explore. 1-2 hours will be the time spent here, before returning to the lodge for dinner and peaceful slumber.

Day 8: Transfer to the southern region – Nyungwe national park

You will start your day with a delectable breakfast meal, followed by a scenic drive to Nyungwe national park; home to human cousins; the chimpanzees, co-existing with over 13 unique primate species in the vast Nyungwe forest. Your lunch will be on the trail, while dinner and a nap will be at the park lodge.

Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking and canopy walk

Breakfast is the first order of the day, followed by a trip to the park headquarters for registration and an explanation of the park’s rules. The park officers will then lead you through the forest, which is filled with the incredible sounds of the birds and other primates that have found refuge here, to search for the chimpanzees, which you may find relaxing, feeding, or playing in their natural habitat. The monitoring exercise could last between one and six hours, followed by a lunch break.

After lunch, you will embark on an unforgettable canopy trek in the Nyungwe forest, 6-7 meters above the ground. It is one of a kind in Africa and offers spectacular views of the landscape, forest inhabitants, and more during the two to three-hour excursion. Following dinner is an overnight stay.

Day 10: Drive to D.R.C – Virunga national park

On the 10th day of your 14 Days Uganda Congo and Rwanda Tripple Gorilla trekking Safari, , after a hearty breakfast at the lodge, you will depart on a voyage that is filled with many sights to see and rolling hills to admire. Nonetheless, you will enjoy lunch and registration at the picturesque border post, as well as the option to stop at any interesting site along the route, as determined by your driver-guide.

You can anticipate arriving at your lodge in Virunga national park in the evening for a restorative drink, followed by supper and a snooze.

 Day 11: 3RDMountain Gorilla trekking adventure

Day 12: Relaxation at Lake Kivu national park

After a delicious breakfast in the early morning, you will depart the lodge for the must-see beaches of Lake Kivu, the ideal place for relaxation and acclimatization after an exciting safari adventure. You will arrive on time, have fun, and then relax by the tranquil waters until dinner and overnight.

 Day 13: Full day relaxation

This entire day will be spent unwinding by the tranquil waters of Lake Kivu, the largest freshwater lake in Rwanda and a remarkable destination for relaxation.  Among the activities available are horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, guided nature walks, and wildlife watching, among others. Breakfast and lunch will be served on the shore, while dinner will be served late in the day at the lodge before a nap.

 Day 14: Departure

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and be driven to the Kigali airport. However, there will be a rewarding city excursion of one of East Africa’s cleanest cities. You will purchase a few mementos at the genocide memorial and local craft markets.
